Church of the Madonna di Lourdes Dassa area - Borno
Location

The church, whose current shape goes back to the 17th century, was originally dedicated to the Saints Vito and Modesto, represented in the niches of the north wall. Before the face, characterized by an architrave door in Sarnico stone, there is the arcade, with two arches supported by pillars and cross vault. Inside, just one cross-vaulted nave presents decorations and frescoes of recent times, (early 20th century) and the remaking of the ancient fresco representing the fire occurred in Borno in 1688, set by the Scalve people, after harsh conflicts for the pastures of Mt. Negrino.
